Job Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the success or failure of large-scale MEP projects as the overall project leader.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders (clients, consultants, supervisors, civil contractors) to ensure smooth communication and avoid misunderstandings or dissatisfaction.
  • Develop and report project execution plans based on bidding documents and contractual obligations.
  • Hold internal kickoff meetings to align the team on goals, standards, and execution strategy.
  • Assign responsibilities within the team, define key roles, monitor execution, and ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
  • Oversee key project goals including safety, schedule, quality, and cost.
  • Coordinate all project phases design, detailing, construction, testing, and after-sales with a delivery- and results-driven mindset to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Build a high-performing project team with strong ownership, execution, and teamwork.
  • Lead in-depth project reviews (milestones, periodic, and completion reviews) to support process improvement and organizational learning.
  • Collaborate effectively with procurement, cost control, and finance teams to manage changes, settlements, and secure project profitability.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years experience in new data center construction, with at least 5 years as MEP EPC Project Manager.
  • Cumulative project delivery of no less than 200 IT MW, including at least 100 MW as lead MEP project manager.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
  • Proficient in project tools such as Microsoft Project, Office, and AutoCAD.
  • Bachelors degree or above.
  • Strong English reading and writing skills; candidates capable of working in English are preferred.
  • First-class construction engineer certification is a plus.

Salary Range: RM13000 - RM15000
