Roles
- Serve as the primary contact for customers during the early stages of projects, including quality agreement alignment, identification of quality technical standards, and conducting new supplier qualification reviews.
- Oversee project quality control, encompassing both product development and supplier quality management during the project phase.
- Manage quality control during mass production, focusing on reducing defect-related costs, enhancing customer satisfaction, managing supplier quality, and maintaining the quality management system.
- Drive the development and continuous improvement of the overall quality management system.
- Lead team performance management, organizational structuring, and initiatives to improve team efficiency, collaboration, and member development.
Job Responsibilities
- Well-versed in ISO9001 quality management, QC080000 hazardous substance management, and IATF16949 automotive quality management systems.
- Experienced in applying the five core AIAG tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and knowledgeable in Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficient in 8D problem solving, 5WHY analysis, the seven quality tools, and tools such as MINITAB.
- Familiar with quality management across the product lifecycle, including NPI (New Product Introduction), MP (Mass Production), and customer complaint handling.
- Capable of leading root cause analysis and problem resolution, ensuring effective closure and managing cross-functional coordination.
- Skilled in managing customer and supplier relationships to maintain strong and collaborative partnerships.
- Competent in cost control, including human resource efficiency, operational performance, and reduction of quality-related costs.
- Able to plan, organize, execute, and monitor quality-related meetings at the company level to support continuous system improvements.
- Experienced in conducting various audits, including internal quality system audits, process audits, third-party and customer audits, and participating in management reviews.
Job Requirements
- More than 5 years of hands-on experience in comprehensive quality management within the electronics industry; experience in the semiconductor packaging industry is an added advantage.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Materials Science, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related scientific/engineering discipline.
- Strong team-building skills to ensure team stability and operational efficiency; empowering leadership style to foster team member growth.
- Capable of aligning team member capabilities with project complexity and organizational goals.
- Able to design and implement employee development plans, identify capability gaps, structure training programs, deliver internal training, and ultimately elevate the professional capabilities of the team.
