Job Responsibilities:
- Organize and supervise construction teams, including general workers, welders, electricians, and other trades, ensuring effective manpower allocation and daily discipline management.
- Manage site workforce activities such as attendance tracking, task assignment, and productivity monitoring, and promptly address site issues.
- Verify construction materials specifications, manage material usage, and handle site housekeeping and material return after work completion.
- Oversee the use, maintenance, and inspection of construction machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Coordinate and communicate with contractors, consultants, operations teams, and other site stakeholders to ensure smooth and orderly construction activities.
- Enforce site safety rules through safety briefings, inspections, and hazard prevention.
- Monitor construction quality and progress, conduct inspections according to standards, and ensure timely rectification of any quality issues.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar site-based role.
- Strong knowledge of site operations, construction methods, drawings, and work schedules.
- Ability to supervise subcontractors and site workers to ensure work is completed on time, safely, and according to specifications.
- Familiar with site safety regulations, quality standards, and basic inspection procedures.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Authority to allocate and manage construction machinery, including scheduling usage, maintenance, and repair.
- Willing to work on-site and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office; knowledge of site reporting tools is an advantage).
