Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns in production lines
- Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) according to schedule to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines and equipment
- Ensure all machines are operating safely and efficiently to minimize downtime
- Record maintenance activities, breakdown reports, and spare parts usage
- Support production team in machine setup and changeover when required
- Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and safety risks
- Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of tools, equipment, and maintenance area
- Follow safety procedures and comply with company SOPs and food manufacturing standards (HACCP, GMP)
Job Requirements (JR)
- Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic or related technical field
- 1–3 years of experience in maintenance role (food manufacturing or FMCG preferred)
- Fresh graduates from technical/TVET background are encouraged to apply (training provided)
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting
- Able to read technical drawings and equipment manuals is an advantage
- Hands-on, practical, and willing to work in production environment
- Able to work on shift, weekends, or standby when required
- Basic understanding of safety standards in manufacturing environment
- English and Bahasa Malaysia required
