Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage the mobilization, inspection, registration, and demobilization of construction machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements and Malaysian regulations.
  • Maintain complete equipment records, including technical specifications, maintenance history, inspection reports, certifications, and asset registers.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and deployment of cranes, forklifts, construction hoists, and other heavy equipment to support project progress efficiently.
  • Monitor equipment usage and ensure only certified operators are assigned in accordance with DOSH, CIDB, and project EHS requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance (PM), and coordinate timely repairs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Supervise fuel planning, storage, and usage in compliance with project safety and environmental standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian safety regulations, including OSHA 1994, FMA 1970, DOSH, and CIDB requirements.
  • Conduct regular equipment safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
  • Organize safety briefings, equipment operation training, and emergency response drills for machinery operators.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, maintenance records, safety documentation, and support internal audits as well as DOSH and CIDB inspections.
  • Investigate equipment-related incidents, prepare reports, and implement preventive and corrective actions.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plant Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction machinery management, equipment maintenance, or mechanical administration within the Malaysian construction industry.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience supervising site mechanical operations or equipment teams.
  • Strong knowledge of construction machinery, hydraulic and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with Malaysian regulatory requirements, including DOSH, CIDB, OSHA 1994, and FMA 1970, as well as special equipment registration and inspection procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of maintaining equipment databases, reports, and documentation.
  • Possess a valid CIDB Green Card. Candidates with DOSH lifting equipment certification and/or OSH Coordinator (OSH-C) certification will have an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
