Company Background:
A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including basic salary, overtime, allowances, deductions, and adjustments.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly payroll in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Process statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB/MTD.
• Maintain accurate payroll records, employee data, attendance, leave, and overtime tracking.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliation, and payroll-related documentation for management and audit purposes.
• Address payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies professionally and confidentially.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including contract preparation and final salary processing.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, internal SOPs, and HR policies.
• Liaise with Finance, auditors, and relevant authorities on payroll and HR matters.
• Assist in continuous improvement of payroll processes and HR operations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of HR experience, with hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Experience handling payroll for shift-based or manufacturing employees is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR/payroll systems.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to meet tight payroll deadlines.
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
