Job Descriptions
  • Supervise daily purchasing operations including sourcing, quotation comparison, purchase order (PO) issuance, and delivery follow-up.
  • Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and indirect materials to support production requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service level.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and approval procedures.
  • Prepare purchasing reports including cost analysis, supplier comparison, and procurement status updates.
  • Handle procurement issues such as delayed delivery, quality issues, and supplier disputes.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives and identify alternative suppliers for better pricing and efficiency.
  • Supervise and guide purchasing staff to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • At least 1–2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, and procurement processes.
  • Experience in handling raw materials, mechanical parts, or industrial components is an advantage.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage urgent production requirements.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
Location: Senai, Johor
Working hours: Mon - Fri (8:30AM - 5:30PM)
Salary range: RM5,000 - negotiable
