Hirelink ("Hirelink", "we", "us") is a recruitment intermediary that introduces job candidates to independent employers (our “Client Companies”). We do not employ or supply/lease workers. The decision to hire rests solely with each Client Company, and any employment contract is exclusively between you and that Client Company.

2) Scope & Acceptance
By uploading or submitting your CV/resumé or otherwise using our candidate services, you:
- confirm you have read and accept these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Notice below;
- consent to electronic contracting (click-wrap) and electronic communications;
- represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into this agreement.
If you do not agree, please do not submit your information.
3) Nature of Services — No Employment by Hirelink
- Hirelink is an introducer only. We are not a party to any employment contract and we do not control Client-company workplaces, schedules, or remuneration.
- We do not provide agency worker/temporary-leasing (μετάθεση/δανεισμό προσωπικού) services.
- You will be employed, if at all, only by a Client Company under its own terms.
4) No Guarantee of Placement
We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment. Hiring decisions are made solely by Client Companies. Timelines and outcomes may vary and are outside our control.
5) No Fees to Candidates
Hirelink does not charge candidates any placement, recruitment, or onboarding fees. If anyone claims to represent us and requests payment, contact us at [info@hirelink.agency].
6) Your Responsibilities & Declarations
You agree that:
- All information you submit is accurate, current, and complete.
- You will promptly update us regarding changes (e.g., contact details, work status, restrictions).
- You have the right to share any references, certificates, or testimonials you provide, and you have informed any referees that we may contact them.
- You will not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, harassing, or infringes third-party rights.
- You will not submit special category data (e.g., health, biometrics, religion, political opinions) unless specifically requested and necessary for a lawful purpose. If you do so, you provide explicit consent to our processing of such data as described in the Privacy Notice.
- You authorize us to share your CV/resumé and relevant information with selected Client Companies for the purposes described below.
7) Background Checks & Verification
Where appropriate and permitted by law, you authorize Hirelink or the relevant Client Company to conduct job‑related checks (e.g., identity, work authorization, employment/education verification, criminal record checks where lawful and proportionate). Some checks may be performed directly by the Client Company or by vetted third‑party providers engaged by the Client Company.
8) Conduct & Communications
You agree to:
- attend scheduled interviews on time or provide reasonable notice to reschedule;
- communicate professionally with Hirelink staff and Client Companies; and
- refrain from disclosing Client confidential information obtained during the hiring process, except as required by law.
You consent to receive recruitment‑related communications (email, phone, SMS, messaging apps). You can opt out of marketing messages at any time (see Privacy Notice).
9) Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
Materials provided by Hirelink (guides, job descriptions, assessments) are for your personal, non‑commercial use in connection with the application. All intellectual property rights remain with Hirelink or the respective owner. You must keep Client and candidate information confidential and use it only for your application.
10) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Hirelink is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of opportunity, income, or data arising from or related to your use of our services.
- Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim shall not exceed €100 (one hundred euros) or, if lower, the minimum amount required by applicable law.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11) Privacy Notice (GDPR/EU)
This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data when you submit your CV/resumé to Hirelink.
11.1 Data Controller
Hirelink is the data controller for the candidate data you submit to us. In certain cases, a Client Company will become an independent data controller once we share your profile with them. We will identify the Client Company upon referral.
11.2 Categories of Data
- Identification & contact data (name, email, phone, address, nationality, work authorization).
- CV/resumé data (education, employment history, skills, languages, certifications, references, portfolio links).
- Interview and assessment information (notes, test results where applicable).
- Communications & scheduling data (emails, messages, call records, interview dates).
- Optional/Special Category Data (only if you choose to provide or where lawful and necessary): health/medical accommodations, disability information, union membership, or other sensitive data. If submitted, we rely on explicit consent and/or employment law obligations where applicable.
11.3 Purposes of Processing
We process your data to:
- receive, review, and match your profile to job opportunities;
- present your profile to suitable Client Companies and arrange interviews;
- manage communications, scheduling, and feedback;
- conduct identity and eligibility verifications where lawful;
- comply with legal/regulatory obligations (e.g., anti‑discrimination, equal opportunity);
- maintain records, metrics, and service quality; and
- send you relevant opportunities and career resources (you may opt out at any time).
11.4 Lawful Bases (Art. 6 GDPR)
- Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to evaluate your candidacy and present you to Client Companies; to operate and improve our services; to prevent fraud and misuse.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for sending marketing communications; for processing special category data where you choose to provide it.
- Legal Obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) — to comply with applicable laws.
- Pre‑contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b)) — when arranging interviews at your request with a Client Company.
For Special Category Data, we rely on explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)) or employment law provisions (Art. 9(2)(b)), as applicable.
11.5 Sharing & Recipients
We may share your data with:
- Client Companies considering you for roles;
- service providers (IT hosting, email, interview tools) under contract and bound by confidentiality/security obligations;
- professional advisors (legal, compliance) where necessary; and
- authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data.
11.6 International Transfers
If a Client Company or service provider is outside the EEA/UK/Switzerland, we will ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses) and conduct transfer risk assessments where required.
11.7 Retention
- Candidate profiles and communications are retained for 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you request earlier deletion or a longer period is permitted/required by law (e.g., to address legal claims).
- If you are hired by a Client Company, that company’s retention policy applies to data it holds as an independent controller.
11.8 Your Rights
Subject to legal limitations, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Greece: Hellenic Data Protection Authority).

11.9 Security

We do not make hiring decisions using solely automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Screening tools may assist our staff, but final decisions are made by humans (Client Companies).

13) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
