About the job Head of Programmatic

We are looking for a Head of Programmatic to lead and scale our international inventory monetization business, including our global header bidding services across all markets.

This is a strategic leadership role that combines deep technical understanding of programmatic ecosystems with a strong commercial mindset. You will own our monetization strategy, build and manage relationships with SSPs and DSPs globally, and drive measurable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and lead the programmatic monetization strategy across all markets.
  • Manage and expand partnerships with SSPs, DSPs, and ad tech vendors.
  • Drive revenue growth and yield optimization across our header bidding stack.
  • Oversee header bidding performance optimization and related technical projects.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the Portfolio and Sales departments.
  • Identify and evaluate new monetization opportunities and programmatic technologies.
  • Ensure best practices in ad quality, transparency, and brand safety.
  • Represent Ads Interactive in key industry discussions and partner meetings.
  • Building and managing the Programmatic team and processes, technology stack and strategy
  • Maximizing yields from all programmatic sources: from PMPs and OMP

  • Implementing Header Bidding

  • Managing relationships with SSPs and other programmatic buying partners

  • Communication with Dev team, Portfolio team, AdOps team and other teams for making a successful product on the programmatic side and maintain customers satisfaction

    Working on different SSPs

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad operations, or yield management.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with SSP/DSP partners at a senior level.
  • Active, established network of connections on both the SSP and DSP sides.
  • Strong technical understanding of header bidding, RTB, and Adtech integrations.

  • Analytical mindset with hands-on experience using ad tech dashboards, data tools, and optimization systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker who can translate data insights into actionable revenue growth.
  • Native or near-native English; German (would be a plus)

  • Proven success in managing cross-functional and international teams, clearly defining roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with SSPs, DSPs, and key technology partners.
  • Experience overseeing global monetization operations, ideally across multiple markets or business units.
