HireNow Staffing is partnering with a prestigious national law firm to identify a sharp and driven Litigation Associate to join their Southern California litigation group. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, high-exposure warranty litigation matters representing some of the biggest names in the automotive industry including top-tier manufacturers, distributors, and dealers.

No prior automotive or warranty litigation background is required just a solid litigation foundation and a desire to grow.
What You'll Do

Serve as litigation counsel in matters involving warranty claims and product-related disputes on behalf of major automotive clients.

Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, and settlement negotiations.

Draft persuasive legal memoranda, motions, pleadings, and discovery documents with a high degree of accuracy.

Appear in state and federal courts throughout California, arguing motions and participating in mediations and hearings.

Collaborate with a team of experienced litigators and client stakeholders to deliver efficient, strategic outcomes.

Participate in ongoing training and development programs to become a subject matter expert in warranty litigation.
Who You Are

You bring at least 2 years of civil litigation experience, ideally with exposure to motion practice, discovery, or trial prep.

You're licensed to practice in California and in good standing with the Bar.

You write clean, compelling legal arguments and think several steps ahead of opposing counsel.

You're comfortable in the courtroom and bring confidence to depositions, hearings, and negotiations.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple cases and shifting priorities without missing a beat.

You bring a stable employment history, law firm experience, and strong academic credentials.

Prior experience in warranty, product liability, or auto-related litigation is a bonus but not required.
