What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform 2D and Doppler echocardiographic exams, including transthoracic, stress, and contrast studies

  • Capture diagnostic-quality images with attention to detail and patient comfort

  • Collaborate with cardiologists and care teams to ensure timely and accurate interpretations

  • Monitor, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound equipment and lab technology

  • Document findings and maintain imaging records in alignment with compliance standards

  • Flex your critical thinking in urgent and routine clinical settings, adjusting to patient acuity and needs

  • Contribute to workflow improvements and uphold quality assurance in daily operations

Who You Are

Required:

  • Credentialed in cardiac sonography by ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) or eligible to certify within 12 months of hire

  • Skilled in echocardiographic protocols, equipment use, and anatomy/pathophysiology interpretation

  • Strong communicator, comfortable working closely with both patients and interdisciplinary teams

  • Calm under pressure, organized, and reliable with time-sensitive exams

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience in a cardiac sonographer role or high-volume echo lab

  • Comfortable supporting both inpatient and outpatient care settings

  • Previous experience in a hospital or accredited cardiovascular lab
