Registered Nurse, Recovery Unit

Join our team at HireNow Staffing as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Recovery Unit in Selma, AL.  As an RN in the Recovery Unit, you will provide compassionate care to patients recovering from surgical procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being as they transition from anesthesia to full consciousness.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Position: Registered Nurse, Recovery Unit

Location: Selma, AL 36703

Weekly schedule: Day shift - Monday/Friday

Salary: $45,760.00 - $70,928.00

Supplemental Pay:
Qualified candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus.

Supplemental schedule: On call

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and neurological status during the recovery process
• Assess patients' pain levels and administer medications as needed
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama
• Minimum of one year of experience in a recovery unit or post-anesthesia care unit (PACU)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations
