HireNow Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join a top-tier oncology team in Houston, TX. This is a full-time weekday opportunity for a certified professional with 3+ years of experience in delivering radiation treatments, performing dose calculations, and supporting patient-centered care in an advanced cancer treatment environment.

Position Details:

Schedule: Monday/Friday, 7:00 AM/4:00 PM or 8:00 AM/5:00 PM
Setting: Hospital-based radiation oncology department

Key Responsibilities:

• Simulate treatment set-ups in accordance with physician orders

• Perform manual and computerized dosimetry calculations under supervision

• Deliver accurate and safe radiation treatments as prescribed

• Assist with brachytherapy procedures and patient positioning

• Operate and monitor therapy equipment, ensuring safety and functionality

• Maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with care teams

• Serve as a mentor/resource for junior therapists and clinical staff

• Promote compassionate care aligned with the highest service standards

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program
Certified Radiation Therapist (ARRT-T)
Licensed by the Texas Department of Health (TMB/CMRT)
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in radiation therapy
Ability to lift and assist patients in coordination with others

Preferred Experience:

️ 3+ years of clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist
️ Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
️ Familiarity with quality and safety protocols in radiation oncology
