Registered Nurse - Hem/Onc Infusion - Part time

 HireNow Staffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hematology/Oncology Infusion team in Boston, MA, on a part-time basis.  As an RN in Hem/Onc Infusion, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing infusion therapy for hematologic and oncologic conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout treatment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Position: Registered Nurse, Hem/Onc Infusion Part time

Schedule: 32 hours Day shifts

Salary: $71,230.00 - $141,017.00

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and supportive care medications as prescribed by physicians
• Assess patients' physical and emotional status before, during, and after infusion therapy
• Monitor patients' vital signs and laboratory values, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions
• Provide patient education on treatment regimens, potential side effects, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient care

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the state of Massachusetts
• Minimum of one year of experience in oncology or infusion therapy
• OCN certification preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Must-Haves

1 One year of RN experience

2 Must have an active or pending Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license or the ability to obtain one.

Nice-To-Haves

1 More than 2 years of experience

2 Recent Step down, med surg, or ICU experience
