Overview
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a nationally recognized law firm to identify a highly organized and service-driven Information Management Specialist to support its Cleveland-based office.

The Information Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring client and firm records are accurately tracked, stored, transferred, and maintained in compliance with firm policies and legal standards.
The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, comfort working with both physical and electronic information systems, and the professionalism required to support attorneys and business teams in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as an essential support resource for the firm's information governance and records operations, including:
  • Maintaining accurate indexing and tracking of onsite files, storage containers, and archived materials using internal systems (iCompli or similar platforms)
  • Managing requests for file containers, barcode labeling, transfers, and retrievals across departments
  • Overseeing assigned storage areas to ensure organization, accessibility, and compliance with retention standards
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing file shipments between offices, external vendors, and client-designated locations
  • Collecting, reviewing, and preparing physical records for secure transfer, offsite storage, or authorized destruction
  • Ensuring all record-handling activities align with confidentiality expectations and firmwide compliance requirements
  • Preparing reports and activity metrics related to information management operations
  • Supporting training initiatives and working collaboratively with colleagues to strengthen IM workflows and best practices
  • Assisting with additional operational or administrative duties as needed
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must meet the following core requirements to be considered for interview:
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of professional services or administrative office experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational accuracy
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship now or in the future)
  • Must be local to Cleveland, OH or able to commute to the hybrid schedule
