Job Summary

The Plumber will work closely with other tradespeople and contractors on construction sites, ensuring that all plumbing work is completed efficiently and to code.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Perform pipe threading and welding tasks as needed for various projects.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete plumbing installations and repairs.
  • Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations during all work performed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.

Skills

  • Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to plumbing systems.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various plumbing issues.
  • Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and welding practices.
  • Ability to work effectively on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Competence in using hand tools and power tools specific to plumbing tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
