Senior Tax Accountant - Industrial American Holding

Heritage Partners is honored to collaborate with a famous Industrial group based in the United States and having their European headquarters in Luxembourg !

We are excited to assist them in their search for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their Luxembourg team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Tax Director and collaborate closely with the local and US teams.

What will you do ?

• Ensure accurate recording of current and deferred taxes.
• Conduct quarterly Effective Tax Rate (ETR) reconciliations for Europe.
• Prepare and/or review estimated direct tax payments for EU jurisdictions.
• Oversee outsourced direct tax compliance processes in EU jurisdictions
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns
• Collaborate with BUs Controllers on the annual Return-To-Provision process
• Ensure adherence to global tax regulations (incl upcoming Pillar 2)
• Provide support in all areas of tax planning (acquisitions, transfer pricing...)
• Stay updated on relevant tax law developments
• Prepare and/or review tax packages submitted to the US Tax team

Who are you ?

• You have a degree in Finance / Taxation
• Min 6 years experience in Tax Accounting (an inhouse experience is a big plus)
• Very good knowledge of US GAAP
• Good understanding of European tax concepts (Pillar 2, ATAD, TP...)
• Fluent in English
• Excellent mindset and good communication skills
