Senior Audit Manager - Public Sector & Not For Profit

Los Angeles, CA | Hybrid or remote in CA | Public Accounting | Full-Time

We're hiring a Senior Audit Manager with at least 7 years of public accounting experience, specifically auditing state and local governments, cities, counties, special districts, and related public entities.

What Youll Do:

• Lead public sector audit engagements from planning to reporting

• Oversee staff, review workpapers and financials, and ensure audit quality

• Communicate directly with clients and manage project timelines and budgets

• Stay current on GASB, Yellow Book, and Uniform Guidance standards

• Help train and develop team members while supporting client relationships

What Were Looking For:

• CPA license required

• 7+ years in public accounting with strong public sector audit experience and 2+ years in a Manager position

• Deep knowledge of GAGAS, GASB, and Single Audits

• Not for Profit experience preferred

• Proven leadership, technical, and client service skills

• Experience with audit software (CCH, CaseWare, etc.)
