Contractor Fee: $2,700-$3,100/month (USD)

About This Role:
We are hiring a performance-driven Graphic Designer to support the paid media and creative team of a fast-growing direct-to-consumer eCommerce brand. This role focuses on designing high-converting static creatives for paid social channels while maintaining strong visual brand standards. The ideal candidate understands the difference between design that drives conversions and design that strengthens brand perception, and can shift between both depending on campaign goals. You will work closely with the creative strategist and marketing team to produce scroll-stopping visuals, test creative concepts, and continuously improve ad performance through iteration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design high-performing static ad creatives for paid social platforms, including Meta, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Translate creative briefs into clear, engaging, and conversion-focused visuals

  • Create multiple variations of winning concepts to support testing and scaling campaigns

  • Develop scroll-stopping visuals that communicate the key message within the first few seconds

  • Design creatives aligned with proven direct response frameworks such as problem–solution positioning, offer-driven ads, social proof creatives, and UGC-style statics

  • Iterate on creatives based on campaign performance feedback and analytics insights

  • Maintain consistency with the brand’s visual guidelines while prioritizing performance outcomes

  • Collaborate closely with creative strategists, media buyers, and video teams to align messaging and visuals

  • Manage multiple design briefs while meeting weekly creative production targets

  • Support the development of new creative concepts and ad angles for testing

  • Figma

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Adobe Illustrator

  • Canva

  • Meta Ads creative formatting and export best practices

  • AI image generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Nano Banana Pro, Higgsfield)

  • AI motion tools (e.g., Kling, Seedance)

  • Project management tools such as ClickUp or similar

  • Google Workspace

  • Slack

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of freelancing experience

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level).

  • 2–4+ years of experience designing paid social ads for DTC eCommerce brands

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-performing static ad creatives for paid social campaigns

  • Experience working with brands that run structured ad testing environments or larger paid media budgets

  • Strong understanding of attention-driven design principles such as hook-first design, visual hierarchy, and thumb-stop concepts

  • Ability to quickly create multiple creative variations for testing and optimization

  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills

  • Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable integrating AI tools into creative workflows to improve speed and output

  • Able to separate personal design preferences from performance-driven creative decisions

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (US PST/AEST)
