About This Role:
We’re hiring a Head of Inventory and Supply Chain to take ownership of our end-to-end inventory operations across multiple warehouses, Amazon, and wholesale accounts. This senior leadership role requires a strong background in supply chain management, e-commerce, and inventory systems. You’ll be responsible for forecasting, replenishment, and global supplier coordination, driving efficiency, scalability, and accuracy as we scale rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and oversee inventory operations across US and Australia warehouses, Amazon, and wholesale accounts.
Manage purchase orders, replenishment cycles, and inbound shipments from China.
Forecast demand by analyzing run rates, market trends, and seasonality to maintain optimal stock levels.
Balance inventory to prevent overstocking, overspending, or stock-outs impacting sales.
Coordinate inventory movements across multiple warehouses and 3PLs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Transition from spreadsheets to scalable systems, standardizing workflows for efficiency and visibility.
Oversee third-party Amazon inventory partners to optimize channel performance.
Develop SOPs, KPIs, and inventory controls to ensure consistency and operational discipline.
Manage supplier communication, freight timelines, and delivery schedules.
Build and lead a lean support team while collaborating cross-functionally with leadership, fulfillment, and suppliers.
Software/Platforms/Tools:
Shopify or other e-commerce platforms
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
MS Excel (advanced)
Inventory management tools and forecasting systems
Qualifications:
3-5 years of freelancing experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1/C2 level).
5+ years’ experience as an Inventory Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Logistics, or similar role.
Strong background in e-commerce, ideally in apparel or high-SKU environments.
Proven experience managing multi-warehouse, multi-market operations.
Demonstrated success in automating processes and implementing scalable systems.
Strong leadership background with the ability to coach and manage a small team.
Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
Highly analytical mindset with expertise in forecasting, demand planning, and reconciliation.
Experience working with companies based in Australia is preferred but not essential.
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM AEST (with flexibility to overlap with US teams).
