About This Role:
We’re hiring a Fulfillment Operations Specialist to support a fast-growing eCommerce brand across Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, and other sales channels. In this role, you will manage fulfillment workflows, troubleshoot operational and system issues, support product and inventory setup, and help improve processes across ERP, WMS, and marketplace platforms. We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities. The ideal candidate is systems-minded, able to solve problems independently, communicate clearly with different teams, and identify ways to improve workflows and reduce recurring operational issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Support end-to-end backorder program execution when products are sold through future inventory
Manage future ship dates based on inbound container timelines and maintain ESD logic for customer-facing website display
Validate inventory alignment across Shopify, ERP, and WMS systems before backorder release decisions
Balance automation with manual controls to ensure customer commitments are operationally feasible
Support Shopify product creation, SKU setup, and shipping configuration for new launches and spare parts workflows
Ensure products, bundles, and launch flows are operationally ready across systems before go-live
Partner cross-functionally to support go-to-market execution and reduce fulfillment risk
Diagnose system-level issues across dropship and partner order flows, including inventory sync failures, SKU mismatches, EDI/integration errors, and SLA breakdowns
Define escalation paths and drive resolution across internal stakeholders, partners, and systems
Identify recurring failure patterns and implement workflow or system-level fixes
Operate across Shopify DTC, Amazon FBA/FBM, Walmart Marketplace, TikTok Shop, and other partner channels
Produce weekly trend analysis across fulfillment, order flow, and system performance
Deliver ad hoc reporting and support leadership with actionable insights
Translate exception data into prioritized recommendations and surface recurring operational issues
Monitor exception feeds and tracking signals across systems to identify high-impact issues and fulfillment risks
Coordinate with 3PL partners, CX, and internal teams on issue resolution and escalation management
Support EDI and integration troubleshooting across fulfillment systems and partner order flows
Assist in testing and rollout of process improvements to reduce exceptions and manual work
Define escalation frameworks for recurring shipment and fulfillment issues
Partner cross-functionally to resolve systemic issues and reduce repeat exceptions
Support complex or international shipment escalations as needed

Qualifications:
3–6 years of experience in DTC, eCommerce operations, fulfillment, logistics, or similar roles
Experience working as a freelancer or independent contractor supporting remote or international teams
Strong systems experience across Shopify, ERP/OMS platforms, marketplace tools, and tracking systems
Experience working in multi-channel environments (DTC, marketplace, retail, dropship)
Experience with Shopify product setup, SKU management, bundles, shipping logic, and inventory synchronization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend actions
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate reporting into actionable insights
Experience improving workflows, automations, and SOPs using tools like Parabola, Omni, or similar
Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
C1–C2 level English proficiency (written and verbal)
Highly detail-oriented and comfortable managing high volumes of operational issues
Experience working in lean, high-growth environments with evolving processes and high operational ownership
Nice to have:
Experience working with 3PLs and carrier partners
Familiarity with EDI, integrations, and order routing systems
Experience in high-growth or scaling eCommerce brands
Exposure to automation tools and AI tools (e.g., Claude or similar)
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, aligned with US EST hours, with flexibility for cross-functional collaboration as needed.
