We work with stable, responsible businesses experienced in remote hires and are excited to welcome international team members. Tidal is owned and operated by consumer brand owners and operators. We have offshore team-building experience and aim to help businesses leverage global talent.
About This Role:
We are hiring a Creative Strategist to own the execution and coordination of content across newsletters, social media, and client-facing content projects. This role is highly execution-focused and client-facing, centered on running content projects end-to-end—drafting and editing newsletters, building polished assets in Canva, coordinating quotes and approvals, and keeping timelines on track. While some content may be AI-assisted, you’ll be responsible for shaping, refining, and delivering final outputs with a strong command of English and brand tone. This is not a pure ideation or copywriting role; success comes from strong communication, project ownership, and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned while content moves from draft to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Own execution of newsletters and email sends, including drafting, editing, layout (Canva), approvals, and scheduling
Manage content for events, ebooks, and campaigns, including collecting quotes, coordinating approvals, and finalizing assets
Run day-to-day social media publishing (LinkedIn, Instagram, others as needed)
Create and format content assets using Canva (primary design tool)
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and clients to gather inputs, feedback, and approvals
Maintain content calendars, timelines, and simple project trackers
Ensure content is polished, on-brand, and grammatically strong (C1 or C2 level)
Light performance tracking (open rates, engagement, basic social metrics)
Stretch: support basic video editing or short-form repurposing if capable (not required)
Software/Platforms/Tools:
Canva
Email platforms (Beehiiv or similar)
Google Docs / Sheets
Slack / Notion
Project management tools like Airtable
AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.)
Nice-to-have: basic video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, etc.)
Qualifications:
3–5+ years experience in content, marketing ops, or communications (remote/freelance preferred)
Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or C2 level) (client-facing confidence required)
Strong experience writing and managing newsletters and email content
Comfortable running projects, following up, and keeping stakeholders aligned
Confident using Canva for clean, professional layouts
Experience managing social media publishing
Organized, proactive, and execution-focused
Comfortable using AI tools to speed up content creation without sacrificing quality
