About This Role:
We’re hiring a Commercial Strategy Manager to lead pricing and promotions, assortment optimization, and channel growth initiatives while driving cross-functional alignment. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic operator embedded within the business, ensuring commercial levers are optimized to maximize growth and profitability.
You’ll play a critical role in go-to-market planning and execution, providing insights and financial models that influence executive decision-making, and ensuring the commercial strategy remains cohesive across all markets and sales channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead strategy, testing, and optimization of global pricing and promotions to balance growth, margin, and customer experience.
Partner with Product & Planning to optimize assortment and merchandising for customer clarity and operational efficiency.
Support expansion into new sales channels with tailored pricing, promo, and assortment frameworks.
Develop reporting and insights on pricing, promotions, and assortment performance to inform executive decisions.
Build business cases and financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives (e.g., bundles, discount rationalization).
Collaborate with Marketing to align promotional strategy with brand positioning and acquisition goals.
Work with Finance on forecasting, margin analysis, and validation of business cases.
Software/Platforms/Tools:
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (financial modeling & scenario planning)
Business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
SQL (preferred)
Data visualization tools
Project management platforms (Asana, ClickUp, or similar)
Qualifications:
3-5 years of freelancing experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1/C2 level).
12 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or commercial management.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Demonstrated success managing cross-functional projects in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
Passion for the D2C and apparel industry preferred.
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, flexible working hours, with overlap required for global team collaboration.
