About This Role:

We’re hiring an Amazon Operations Specialist to support a fast-growing, premium direct-to-consumer apparel brand with a strong U.S. and international Amazon presence. This role owns end-to-end Amazon operational execution across multiple marketplaces, with a focus on inventory availability, logistics, fulfillment efficiency, reimbursement recovery, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, comfortable digging into Seller Central data, partnering cross-functionally, and proactively resolving product- and fulfillment-level operational issues in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory & Supply Chain Operations
    • Create, manage, and optimize FBA and FBM shipment plans across U.S. and international marketplaces

    • Partner with planning teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent out-of-stock or overstock scenarios

    • Monitor inventory performance metrics, including sell-through, weeks of cover, and inbound performance

    • Manage aged, excess, stranded, and unsellable inventory

    • Optimize inventory placement and replenishment strategies

  • Logistics, 3PL & Freight Management
    • Coordinate with domestic and international 3PL partners for kitting, labeling, prep, and storage

    • Manage inbound freight across LTL, FTL, ocean, and air shipments

    • Ensure compliance with Amazon FBA prep and labeling requirements

    • Track inbound shipments and resolve discrepancies

    • Support customs, duties, and cross-border fulfillment processes

  • Operational Auditing & Issue Resolution
    • Audit inbound discrepancies, packaging issues, fee inaccuracies, and fulfillment center errors

    • Partner with internal teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions

    • Proactively flag operational risks and potential cost leakage

    • Document recurring issues and drive process improvements

  • Amazon Seller Central Operations
    • Manage reimbursements for lost, damaged, or mis-received inventory

    • Audit FBA fees and storage charges for accuracy

    • Resolve stranded inventory caused by operational issues

    • Open, manage, and escalate Seller Central cases related to operations and fulfillment

    • Monitor and protect account health metrics

  • Global Marketplace Operations
    • Support operations across all active international Amazon marketplaces

    • Manage region-specific operational requirements and constraints

    • Coordinate cross-marketplace inventory transfers when directed by planning teams

    • Support operational readiness for new marketplace launches

  • Reporting & Process Improvement
    • Build and maintain dashboards for inventory health, inbound performance, and reimbursements

    • Identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities

    • Develop and maintain SOPs for Amazon operational workflows

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with supply chain, product, packaging, finance, and marketing teams

    • Align inventory execution with promotions, launches, and demand spikes

Software/Platforms/Tools:

  • Amazon Seller Central (3P)

  • Excel / Google Sheets (advanced)

  • ERP and inventory management systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)

  • 3PL and freight management tools

  • Slack, Google Workspace, and other remote collaboration tools

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of freelancing experience.

  • 7+ years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central (3P) experience

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level)

  • Deep expertise in FBA, FBM, and inventory management

  • Strong experience working with 3PLs and freight partners

  • Advanced Excel and operational reporting skills

  • Experience managing multiple Amazon marketplaces

  • International Amazon operations experience strongly preferred

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, with required overlap during U.S. Eastern Time business hours
