About This Role:

Were looking for a creative and self-directed Head of Content & Social to lead the content strategy and social presence for a lifestyle brand that celebrates pets and the outdoors. Youll own both storytelling and execution, from managing influencer outreach and photoshoots to writing copy and curating a cohesive content calendar. If you thrive in fast-paced, quality-driven environments and know how to build community through thoughtful, visually compelling content, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube

  • Plan, produce, and publish on-brand photo/video content (including weekly Reels & Friday features)

  • Build and manage a pipeline of creators, especially those with great content, even with small followings

  • Write strong marketing copy for social posts, emails, and product launches

  • Engage with customers and fans who tag or mention the brand, encouraging UGC and deeper loyalty

  • Source new creators weekly and manage content delivery, product seeding, and performance tracking

  • Maintain and organize creative assets for team use (Drive, Archive, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the internal team on monthly content themes, giveaways, and campaign rollout

  • Coordinate community-building initiatives and light event planning (e.g., virtual features, giveaways)

  • Monitor and report on content KPIs: engagement, follower growth, tagged content, and more

  • Later (content scheduling & planning)

  • Saral / GoAffPro / Dovetale (influencer & affiliate management)

  • Google Drive, Archive (asset storage & UGC tracking)

  • Klaviyo

  • Shopify

  • CapCut or Final Cut Pro

  • Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator

  • Canva (branded templates)

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of freelancing experience

  • 3+ years in social media, content, or influencer marketing (preferably e-commerce/lifestyle brands)

  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal

  • Experience building creator programs and seeding strategies

  • Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills

  • Proficiency in short-form video editing and lightweight design

  • Experience with community engagement, ambassador programs, or affiliate platforms

  • Understanding of digital performance metrics and best practices

  • Comfortable working across multiple platforms, tools, and creative workflows

  • Deep interest in pets, lifestyle, or outdoor communities and trends

  • Ability to work independently and drive projects with minimal oversight

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US MST
