About This Role

We are hiring a Full-Stack Developer to support a US-based startup building scalable digital products and internal systems.

This role involves working across backend services, third-party integrations, and frontend application development. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning features end-to-end, collaborating with product and design teams, and adapting to different technical needs as the product evolves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models

  • Develop and integrate third-party APIs and internal services

  • Implement frontend features and UI components

  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

  • Debug, test, and optimize application performance

  • Support document generation or workflow automation when required

  • Participate in code reviews and refactoring efforts

  • Maintain technical documentation for systems and features

  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency

Software / Tools / Platforms

  • Frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Tailwind, Shadcn/UI, or similar)

  • Backend technologies (Node.js, Python, FastAPI, or similar)

  • APIs and integrations (REST, GraphQL)

  • Databases and ORMs (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Prisma, or similar)

  • Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar)

  • Version control and CI/CD tools (GitHub, GitLab)

  • Communication tools (Slack, Zoom)

  • AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar)

Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in full-stack or backend-leaning engineering roles

  • At least 3–5 years of freelancing or remote contractor experience

  • Strong experience building APIs, integrations, and backend services

  • Comfortable contributing to frontend applications

  • Experience with relational databases and data modeling

  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal (C1 or C2 level)

  • Strong ownership, reliability, and problem-solving skills

Shift Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, overlapping with US business hours
