Compensation: Approximately $8.65/hour (USD), equivalent to up to $1,500/month (USD) at a full-time schedule.

Engagement Type: Independent Contractor

Schedule: Part-time (20–30 hours/week) preferred, with the opportunity to grow into Full-time (40 hours/week)

About This Role:
We are hiring an Operations Analyst to help manage daily supply chain, logistics, and fulfillment operations for a growing consumer products company. In this role, you will coordinate shipments, manage purchase and sales orders, process EDI transactions, work with 3PL and warehouse partners, and help ensure products are delivered accurately and on time. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments across LTL, FTL, parcel, ocean, and air freight

  • Manage day-to-day communication and operational coordination with 3PL partners and warehouse providers

  • Create, maintain, and update purchase orders (POs) and sales orders across multiple systems

  • Process and manage EDI transactions, including orders, ASNs, invoicing, and retailer compliance requirements

  • Submit and coordinate kitting, bundling, and fulfillment requests to support inventory availability

  • Track shipments and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve delays, discrepancies, and operational issues

  • Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides, labeling requirements, and shipping documentation standards

  • Maintain accurate inventory, logistics, and operational data across systems and spreadsheets

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, customer support, and external partners to ensure smooth execution

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows, efficiency, and data accuracy

Software/Platforms/Tools:

  • EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, or similar

  • 3PL and warehouse management systems (WMS)

  • Shipping and freight management platforms

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

  • Slack and Zoom

  • Project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Trello

  • Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Qualifications:

  • Strong moral compass with a high standard of ethics, honesty, accountability, and integrity in daily work

  • At least 3 to 5 years of freelancing or remote work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, or operations roles

  • Strong experience coordinating freight across multiple shipping modes

  • Hands-on experience managing 3PL partners and warehouse operations

  • Experience working with EDI systems and retail compliance requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to manage work independently and accurately in a remote environment

  • Proven track record of taking ownership of responsibilities and delivering reliable, high-quality work

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (C1 or C2 level)

  • Highly organized with strong prioritization and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute accurately under deadlines

  • Comfortable managing multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience supporting national retail accounts such as Target, Walmart, Costco, or similar retailers

  • Background in direct-to-consumer (DTC), eCommerce, or consumer products businesses

  • Familiarity with inventory planning, forecasting, or replenishment processes

  • Experience improving operational workflows, reporting, or supply chain processes

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Eastern Time – Ontario, Canada)

  • This role will begin on a part-time basis (20–30 hours per week) and may transition into a full-time schedule (40 hours per week) based on business needs and performance)
