A respected healthcare organization is seeking a strategic and compassionate Nurse Manager for the Family Centered Unit, overseeing Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby services. This role will provide focused clinical and operational leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered maternal-child care. The Nurse Manager will drive unit performance, regulatory compliance, and team engagement through collaborative leadership and continuous quality improvement. The ideal candidate is an experienced nursing leader with a strong background in perinatal care, a commitment to staff development, and a passion for fostering resilient, empowered teams.
Job Highlights:

Lead 24/7 operations of Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby units, ensuring patient-centered care

Drive clinical quality improvement and regulatory readiness, including Joint Commission compliance

Manage staffing, budgeting, and workflow optimization in a unionized setting

Recruit, mentor, and develop nursing staff to foster a resilient, engaged team culture

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support professional development initiatives
Experience & Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts RN license and BCLS certification (required)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Masters degree preferred

Minimum 5 years clinical nursing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in L&D or Mother-Baby

Experience managing staff in a unionized healthcare environment preferred
