About our Client

Our client is a pioneering "Native AI" enterprise operations startup focused on the emerging field of Workflow Intelligence. Approximately one year old and approaching a major launch, the company builds sophisticated AI-driven infrastructure that provides deep visibility into how work moves through an organization, enabling enterprises to optimize team time and automate complex processes. As a high-velocity, engineering-heavy team, they are scaling rapidly to solve non-trivial technical challenges—ranging from native macOS/Windows system integration to advanced ML and data platforms—seeking high-ownership "founding-level" talent who thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize clean architecture and mission-critical execution.

About the Role

As an AI Engineer, you will build the intelligent agent systems that power the automation and contextual reasoning capabilities. Youll work hands-on with LLMs, agentic pipelines, and real-world workflow data—experimenting, optimizing, and operationalizing AI behaviors that adapt to how people actually work. This is a foundational role that spans fast prototyping through production deployment, collaborating closely with engineers, product teams, and the founder.

What You'll Do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain agentic AI pipelines for automation and workflow intelligence.
• Experiment with prompt engineering, context tuning, and model orchestration to improve performance and adaptability.
• Work with vector databases, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and related frameworks for contextual intelligence.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to integrate AI systems into real-world workflows.
• Continuously refine and improve models through experimentation, data feedback, and iterative development.

About You

• Strong foundation in Python, LLMs, and agentic architectures.
• Experienced in prompt engineering, context optimization, and AI pipeline design.
• Comfortable building fast prototypes and testing model behavior in varied, complex contexts.
• Curious, pragmatic, and unafraid to experiment, you turn uncertainty into working systems.

Bonus Points

• Experience integrating AI into desktop or web apps.
• Familiarity with LangChain, OpenAI API, or similar frameworks.
• Background in automation systems, workflow optimization, or enterprise AI tools.
