About the Position

We are seeking a skilled, talented, and (pleasant to work with) Program Manager with a strong experience with digital transformation. In this role, you will lead and manage client-facing initiatives to ensure that they deliver on scope, time, budget and quality expectations, from inception, through discovery, development, launch, and into business as usual. You will manage client cross-functional teams, third party vendors, and Pickaxe internal teams to help deliver solutions to critical issues.


What Youll Do

  • You lead the project; at any given moment you know the project status by workstream, what the next steps are for those, current risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to identify, define and prioritize the projects scope, objectives, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with with the stakeholders and workstream owners to define the tactics, roadmap, and project plan
  • Define and manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks
  • Lead and help motivate project teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including roadmaps, project plans, status slides,and other similar documents
  • Ensure alignment and integration with other strategic initiatives and programs within the organization
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between project stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and technical teams
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identify and resolve issues, and manage project change requests
  • Evaluate and measure the success of the project against defined metrics and KPIs
  • Provide regular project status updates and presentations to senior executives and stakeholders

About You

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and with high quality
  • Youve also worked on projects that didnt succeed and can speak candidly about why and how they might have gone differently
  • Experience in leading cross-functional project teams, including business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors either internally or as an external consultant
  • Excellent project management skills, including project planning, risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. You are comfortable speaking with both CEOs and the lower level associates who perform key roles.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quicklyand effectively
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools is a plus
  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus
