About the Position
We are hiring a Marketing Analyst to support a critical client engagement that involves analyzing and combining data from dozens of marketing channels with the clients success data. We are looking for a paid media expert - someone who has worked at an agency and is familiar with how campaigns get trafficked across various platforms and how the ad performance is reported back to clients. And how clients and agencies use that data to optimize campaigns.
Additionally, in this role youll be part of the team training AI agents to help analyze paid media campaigns and performance. We have a roadmap of agents in this area, and you'll be one of the subject matter experts helping develop them
What Youll Do
- Support the build out of data flows that track aggregate paid media performance across various platforms and partners.This includes using Adobe Launch (and possibly Google Tag Manager) to implement tracking pixels for Marketing campaigns
- And using Adobe Launch to implement analytics events for Adobe or mParticle, Segment, and other tracking tools
- And validating these events flow downstream into the appropriate sources
- Help client marketers analyze that data in the downstream sources and evaluate performance - ideally spotting high level insights and doing quick analysis
- Help identify issues in the marketing taxonomy and propose solutions for easier understanding
- Identify and flag data quality issues (missing spend, or delivery data)
- Work with an AI chatbot analyst and help evaluate its understanding of media data help make sure it is able to understand low performance and high performance across channels)
About You
- 4+ years of direct paid media experience with a proven track record helping implement tracking for and analyzing paid social campaigns across channels such as Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, or Programmatic and Search.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze campaigns, audiences, creatives, and budgets to report on CPA or ROAS targets
- Comfortable presenting your analysis to team mates and external clients
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose performance fluctuations. Bonus if you can and analyze for root causes using available data and third-party tools
- Experience reading (or creating) schemas for tagging and naming taxonomies. Youve either created or reported on Campaigns that you broke out by underscores or pipes. And you can explain what the naming convention means.
- Youve worked in a data warehouse like Snowflake, BigQuery, MS Azure and are familiar with PowerBI, Looker, or other similar type tools.
- Bonus points if youve worked with Funnel.io or Adverity or similar aggregators.
- You have some experience working with developers, and have participated in a sprint process at some point.
- You enjoy technology and playing around with it. Youve hacked together something and shared it with others.
