Job Description: Senior Frontend Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontend development, with a particular focus on creating and optimizing user interfaces using JavaScript and TypeScript. This role requires a collaborative team player who can work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain complex frontend applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
Design and implement user interfaces with a focus on user experience and performance.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality software.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the best practices are applied.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in frontend engineering, with at least 5 years at a FAANG company or equivalent.
Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Strong experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar.
Proven ability to design and implement complex user interfaces.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be located within one hour of San Francisco, with the ability to visit the office twice a month.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a startup environment.
Experience with complex frontend architectures.
Familiarity with backend technologies and ability to work across the stack.
Experience leading projects or teams.
Knowledge of healthcare technology or a related field.
