About the job Integrated Models Architect

Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the integrated vehicle model infrastructure for simulation and Real-Time applications.
- Develop and maintain model versioning and parameterisation management processes.
- Define, develop, and maintain model interfaces to ensure smooth integration across systems.
- Perform high-fidelity model reduction techniques (e.g., lumping of masses and volumes, timestep optimisation, simplification, mapping) to enable Real-Time simulation.
- Develop accurate sensor and actuator models for virtual testing and system validation.
- Integrate and troubleshoot models within Real-Time platforms and fully integrated vehicle simulation environments.
- Coordinate and manage external suppliers for outsourced modelling and integration activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive OEM or automotive engineering services company.
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.

Strong expertise in vehicle systems and powertrain modelling.
- Experience with Real-Time platforms such as dSPACE, SpeedGoat, Concurrent, or equivalent.

Excellent command of MATLAB/Simulink for model development and simulation.
- Advanced knowledge of CAE system modelling tools such as GT-Suite and Simscape.

Familiarity with distributed version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience in both experimental testing and simulation techniques applied to automotive development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments.
- Capable of synthesising complex technical inputs for presentation to senior management.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail, flexibility, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Curiosity and an innovative mindset to explore and apply new methods and technologies.
