Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for engineering topics related to a specific vehicle area throughout all development phases.
  • Support resolution of engineering issues, particularly in legacy programs or customer vehicles.
  • Coordinate with key external suppliers, managing cost, timing, and evaluating RFQ responses to support strategic decisions.
  • Represent assigned tasks and project status in cross-functional and company-wide meetings, including senior leadership reviews.
  • Organize and lead design reviews with cross-functional teams, including SET meetings or focused war rooms/deep dives.
  • Contribute to the product development process by analyzing the impact of design and engineering decisions.
  • Lead status reviews and prepare Gateway milestone meetings, ensuring all deliverables are tracked and aligned.
  • Schedule and moderate critical topic meetings to resolve top-priority technical challenges.
  • Support the platform roadmap definition with vehicle integration concerns.

  • Ensure the successful completion of the G milestone for assigned components or systems.
  • Manage and promote Change Requests and Bill of Material (BOM) cost tracking and approvals.
  • Define and oversee the assigned project budget and future budget forecasts for upcoming applications.
  • Track and report on the readiness and maturity of components in alignment with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with vehicle programs to define and support project objectives.

  • Facilitate communication and information flow between different departments and stakeholders.
  • Support issue resolution, including job card approvals, across the full development cycle.

Requirements:

  • Experience with CAD systems (e.g., DMU checks, GD&T, assembly interfaces); CATIA/ENOVIA experience is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and general MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments to solve technical issues.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
