Job Summary

The incumbent will assist in the art marketing, event and partnership functions.

He/she will also be responsible for the coordination of the French and European art business activities, events, client relationship, overseas art events, art fairs, museum connections and special projects in France and Europe.

Responsibilities

Marketing & PR

  • Plan and implement marketing, event and partnership programs, initiatives.
  • Communicate and manage local, regional, and international media.
  • Manage social media.

Events

  • Plan and organize client development events, and business events (gallery openings, art exhibitions, receptions, gallery luncheons and dinners, interviews, forums, press conferences, seminars, conferences, art fairs and events etc.)
  • Organise and liaise with overseas and local partners, art institutions, museums, vendors, collaborators for the company business and events.
  • Serves as key event organizing and administrative liaison for client events, in Hong Kong and overseas.

Business Communications & Coordination for International Market

  • A key business communication, liaison and coordinator for the Founder & CEO.
  • Assist the founder in her business and client communications with the international market (especially French market)
  • Assist the founder in her business meetings, events, and operation activities in international market.
  • Assist the business research work for international art market.
  • Event and exhibition logistics and operation support.
  • Other business and client related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • University degree in public relations, communications, art history, and/or business studies from overseas.
  • Strong international exposure and working experience.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Hong Kong, with valid Hong Kong permanent working status.
  • Proven track record and experience in client services and event management experience.
  • Passionate and interested in art, preferably with knowledge in modern and contemporary art
  • Good communications skills, cross-cultural and interpersonal skill set.
  • Strong multi-task and excellent time management skills, able to handle fast- pace business with tight deadline.
  • Fluent English, preferably with Chinese and French.
  • Highly organized and attention to details.
  • Individual contributor and team player.
  • Proficiency in office computer software, social media applications and communications.
