Job Summary

Ecommerce product manager provides guidance and direction to business stakeholders in creating marketing campaigns, promotions, web activities, dialog activities online and on website/mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Improve Yourself and Others Continually grow your knowledge of industry-wide trends in eCommerce and Omnichannel shopping, investigating new platforms
  • Be a key touch-point for driving and defining product content enhancements from imagery, product descriptions to attribute meta-data, with a focus on in-season challenges & opportunities
  • Develop structural process for ensuring campaigns have consistent retrospective approach, ensuring we learn from our mistakes and act on our opportunities around product data
  • Define long-term product roadmap while identifying key opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Develop deep domain expertise, building competitive landscape awareness, and provide consulting on best practices and emerging trends
  • Lead efforts to constantly improve internal business user and guest experiences by regularly soliciting business user feedback and identifying future enhancements opportunities and impact to current processes
  • Know the Customer - Cultivate an intimate understanding of our customers, both the shoppers and our internal business clients
  • Manage the Roadmap Working with your manager and other product managers, align priorities, epics and features across teams and channels
  • Communicate with stakeholders Talk with business owners to understand their goals, gather necessary requirements, and evangelize your roadmap
  • Drive the product lifecycle Create user stories and acceptance criteria, groom and prioritize

Requirements

  • Licensing or Certifications: CSPO, PMP, SCRUM preferred
  • A relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, MBA, Marketing, Management, Education, Business/Administration, Technical, Information Systems
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development and/or business strategy, including a minimum of five (5) years of experience in e-commerce or online marketing, with responsibility for user experience development/management, e-commerce, online marketing and/or online business strategy
  • Strong understanding of website standards, usability, site design, and ecommerce preferred
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team, and to lead teams in achieving goals
  • Lead a cross-functional team - Define product tactics and operations
