Responsibilities

  • Direct report to the Chief Financial Officer, leading a team of 7-8 in Finance Department responsible for full functions of Finance and Accounting for a Group of companies, including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payments, Fixed Assets records maintenance, Financial Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Performance & Analysis.
  • Responsible and accountable for daily accounting bookkeeping and month end book closing and reporting for the Group of companies.
  • Perform appropriate financial analysis on the management accounts of the Group to evaluate the performance of Businesses, Products, and Department Functions, comparing the current period actual against budget and against last year actual, KPIs reporting.
  • Handle the preparation of statutory accounts and direct deal with external auditors on the annual statutory audits matters.
  • Prepare tax computation and handling relevant tax filing matters.
  • Assist the Chief Financial Officer to perform business case proposal evaluation on new investments and the return on investment monitoring on projects.
  • Well address the Finance and Accounting support needs from other departments and functions to ensure they should be effectively operated for the Group.
  • Process re-engineering the related processes in Finance Department to ensure the good internal control procedures and the most efficient operations of the Group can be achieved.
  • Required to work with colleagues in multiple office sites including Yuen Long, Chai Wan and GZ, with occasionally travelling in PRC.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Accounting or above.
  • Certified Public Accountant.
  • Minimum 15 years in accounting experience with at least 7 years of managerial experience in leading sizable teams and Finance & Accounting Operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations and inventories handling is preferred.
  • Experience in ERP system development and process re-engineering is definitely an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and project management sense.
  • Strong excel skill and financial analytical mind.
  • Good team leadership and people skills to effectively lead the team members with different attributes.
  • Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate and work with cross departments effectively.
  • Able to work under pressure and independently.
  • Good command of English and Chinese.
