Job Summary

  • Manage the product cost, maximize profit margins for products.

Responsibilities

  • Working with other departments to identify opportunities for increasing efficiency or improving workflow processes within the organization.  Recommending ways to improve processes to save time and money.
  • Organizes various departments to carry out product cost analysis regularly, and propose problems and solutions in cost management.
  • Drives and assists related departments to carry out cost improvement activities. 
  • Determines pricing for companys products and quote to Sales offices/BD department. This includes co-ordinating with production/purchase departments to calculate the cost to make, as well as NBO/non NBO projects pricing.
  • Analyzes the difference between actual cost and quoted cost, monitor the abnormal cost difference in the production process and work with the team to improve.
  • Establish product cost management and control system, take effective cost management and control measures and methods, strengthen pre-event, in-process and post-event monitoring of product production costs, to achieve the purpose of reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
  • Manages improvement projects from start to finish, including planning, organizing, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and reporting results. 
  • Tracks the overall cost control status, and submitted cost analysis and improvement suggestion reports regularly.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical engineering / Industrial engineering / Electrical engineering / Finance
  • 20 years of working experience in the manufacturing environment.
  • At least 10 years in cost management or industrial engineer position.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese
  • Familiar with Motor production process, familiar with product costing structure, good at communication and team management.
  • Good computer knowledge, especially in Excel, PPT.
