Job summary

The Head of MIS direct supervises a large, dynamic and highly skilled IT teams to perform the various Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS) projects for Clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a several teams of Services Delivery Managers and Solution Architects, providing leadership, direction and constantly improving the quality of service and collaboration
  • Act as one of the members of Management Team and driving company wides strategic and MIS initiatives and business opportunities
  • Provide the day-to-day and strategic leadership to the Service Delivery teams and play an active role in influencing the stakeholders on all aspects of delivery
  • Accountable for whole MIS performance, from Pre-sales to Post-sales & Delivery and Operation, to ensure the agreed the service standards and create a best in class services
  • Administer and control the MIS P&L and expense budget, ensure all projects are under cost-effective operation
  • Proactively plan and manage the Team to ensure resources are well planned, managed and developed effectively to make available the appropriate resources for the business requirements
  • Responsible for talent development, organization, hardware acquisitions, facilities and Business Continuity Plan for the MIS to assure that they are consistent with and supportive of the business plans
  • Act as the focal point for Regional Projects in Asia region
  • Keep abreast of market trend, servicing offerings and technology relating to Managed Services and commit to drive for DX solutions as well as Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) responsibilities

Requirements

  • Degree holder or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Minimum 20 years relevant experience in ICT industry and strong knowledge of end-to-end solutions covering a wide variety of technologies
  • Ability in translating technical topics to all levels within a Company
  • Good understanding of and experience with enterprise software, hardware and managing services
  • Familiar with customer challenges (process automation & optimization, Cybersecurity and Cloud services, etc.) is a plus
  • PMP or equivalent certification is definitely advantage
  • Customer centric, good inter-personal & communication skills
  • A good team player and collaborate well with colleagues and vendors
  • Self-motivated, strong ownership, result-oriented and able to work under pressure
  • A Cantonese-speaker with good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
