Responsibilities

  • Responsible to source the location based on reasonable factors, and present the feasibility study and business plan for the garment setup in China.
  • Act as a leader to the entire business units of garment business compound in different China production bases, coordinating the internal team building from scratch.
  • Act as the business owner and take control of project responsibility, driving operation and managing all expenses including production overheads to ensure the setup in line with group corporate policies.
  • Drive the continuous growth and expansion of the business by bringing in new ideas and innovations to expand the product/textile solution range in management and operation side.
  • Coordinate different factory heads from other fabric production units to deliver satisfactory outcome of the garment production output.
  • Safeguard the capital investment in each garment factories.
  • Report regularly to the board of directors on the progress of production bases and local market environment.
  • Build and monitor the budget of the production base pre- and post-development.
  • Coordinate with fabric sector within the group to follow up the delivery.
  • Participate the ERP functions with data management for the PRC garment sector.
  • Ensure the internal control in line with the guidelines from corporate.

Requirements

  • Business leader with strong management sense and at least five years in managerial level, previous experience in Garment manufacturing or PRC domestic project management would definitely an advantage.
  • Proven track records in management skill and team works.
  • Exposure with multinational business and in charge with multi-factories will be an asset.
  • Strong desires to bring changes and innovations to systematic management for business and cost control management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill to lead different production operations
  • Network or previous experience on PRC brands and their requirements will be necessary.
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.
