Job Summary

As the Director of Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets, and room service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement food and beverage strategies that align with the hotel's objectives and goals.
  • Manage and lead a team of food and beverage professionals, including chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
  • Ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings that meet or exceed guest expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality products and competitive pricing.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs to maximize profitability.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff members are knowledgeable and skilled in their roles.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Regularly review and update menus to provide guests with fresh and innovative food and beverage offerings.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop and implement promotional campaigns and events.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments and implement best practices where appropriate.
  • Participate in the hotel's senior management team and contribute to the overall success of the hotel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, culinary arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful food and beverage strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety regulations and standards.
  • A passion for food and beverage and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
