Responsibilities

  • Be the Regional IT focal point - Responsible for all new IT initiative or activity for the Regional office in HK; Participate in the DSPU committee meetings to align initiatives and plans, and to participate on definition plans, priorities, standards and procedures; Ensure standardization and commonality for the IT equipment, infrastructure in HK, in alignment with regional IT policies and standards.
  • Manage the IT budget - Consolidate, propose, and prepare annual IT budget and manage effectively within the IT budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.
  • Develop and manage IT Infrastructure - Review, update and further develop the IT strategies for the FHK to ensure all servers, application systems, data and back up, cyber-security and all components of the network are working smoothly with most advance and reliable technology.
  • Manage Business Applications - Perform software development life cycle activities and provide business-as-usual support of the ERP systems and different kinds of in-house / custom applications
  • Develop and maintain policies - Develop, update and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
  • Manage service providers - Prepare, negotiate, confirm, recommend, and renew the maintenance support or contractual issues with all IT suppliers and contractors for cost effective and excellent service.
  • Lead the IT team - Oversee and manage the daily operations of IT support and to resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner, develop and maintain a supportive and cooperative IT team targeting for excellent quality IT service.
  • Enhance user experience with IT Service - Provide support and solution for IT related problems for excellent customer experience.

Requirements

  • Degree Holder in Information Technology or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years working experience in the IT industry, with at least 2 years in managerial level
  • Excellent technical knowledge including server administration, operating system, network infrastructure design, trouble shooting and security
  • Proven track record in handling global networking/System Administration projects such as email migration, AD administration, etc.
  • Experience in ERP system deployment project support is essential, with knowledge in SAP implementation will be an advantage
  • Knowledge in information security accreditations/audit such as ISO 27001 will be a definite advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, independent and capable to work under pressure
  • Occasional travel is required
