Job Summary

The position is the HR Business Partner for a Division responsible for providing proactive HR consulting services as well as delivering a full spectrum of HR activities and support services for the full-time and part-time employees.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 6 staff, including a Human Resources Manager.
  • Work as a trusted business partner; implements integrated people management solution for both full-time and part-time employees which fulfils the business goals and operation needs; handle complicated staff issue including habitual absenteeism and prolonged sick leave or employment compensation case.
  • Work closely to support Executive Manager, Human Resources to provide insight to develop people strategy and plan; partners with the line to implement the plan.
  • Partner with the line in manpower planning, workforce analysis and identifies departmental needs related to human resources; recommends implements business-focused resourcing strategies through internal deployment, effective recruitment, staff retention, leadership & talent pipeline building and succession planning.
  • Work in collaboration with the line and Talent Acquisition Team on full-time and part-time recruitment to meet the large workforce requirements for operations.
  • Support divisional change and drive to implement, for example the transformation journey, and to sustain its change momentum.
  • Facilitate effective communication between line management and employees on HR matters; maintains employee engagement during change and ensure effective implementation of HR strategies.
  • Identify issues and assists in monitoring staff sentiment; facilitates resolution of workplace conflicts and fosters healthy employee relations in collaboration of ER team.
  • Support change initiatives; anticipates changes to meet the business needs and their impacts on the organization; recommends HR solutions for the line to adapt the changes.
  • Mentors and develops team members to build healthy succession tier and capabilities; Recommends promotion and deployment of team members as needed.
