Corporate Associate (M)

Position Summary

As an experienced Associate you will have the opportunity to build a successful career in an achievement orientated yet supportive environment. You will be working in an international law firm, and enjoy the challenge of taking on matters autonomously, seeking guidance and support as required.

General corporate experience, with a focus on IPOs, M&A and regulatory compliance with PRC, Hong Kong and international exposure; basic knowledge on Hong Kong Listing Rules in handling listed companies transaction and compliance matter; excellent analytical and communication skills with English and Chinese capabilities, and an ability to produce commercially astute advice is required to effectively support client's needs in this role.

Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential

You will have:

• qualified in HK and have 2+ years of post-qualification legal experience, preferably gained within an international law firm;
• have well rounded commercial corporate experience with exposure in conducting legal due diligence, preparing shares deal transaction documents and attending to completion logistics ;
• developed M&A skills and experience in general corporate and commercial matters;
• ability to build and lead client relationships;
• knowledge of HK listing rules and takeover code is an advantage;
• commercial awareness and ability to work as a team player;
• have excellent academic results;
• have native (or near native) fluency in English and Chinese (native Cantonese with strong Mandarin capability), with high level English drafting and writing skills.
