Director of Agency, Agency Distribution (Life Insurance)

A fast-moving local Insurance Group is looking for a Director of Agency to drive the Agencys business.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the designed Districts to drive insurance business and recruitment targets

• Supervise and coach the team to review and perform due diligence for the agent applications by complying with the company and regulatory policies and/or guidelines.

• Monitor the registration process with proper and effective control.

• Act as the company representative to communicate with the IA and MPFA for daily operations.

• Enhance the recruitment process/system and internal operating procedures for improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of the daily operations

• Assist Team Head to monitor the recruitment budget and cost for sales channels

• Prepare, review and update all contracts and agreements of sales channels

• Work in conjunction with Compliance / Legal / Internal Audit Departments to establish proper and effective governance and control mechanism for the daily operating process/procedures

• Facilitate the processing of the agency compensation systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics & Finance, Marketing or related disciplines

• Over 10 years relevant working experience in insurance business with knowledge in sales contracting sector, in which at least 3 years in managerial role of agency development

• Familiar with the IA guidelines and license registration process

• Thorough understand the agent recruitment packages and income structure

• Good leadership skills & Attentive to details

• Fast-learner and good team-player

• Able to work independently and to meet tight deadline.

• Excellent planning and interpersonal & communication skills

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

• Good command in written and spoken English and Cantonese. Fluent in Putonghua is an advantage

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager role
