Assistant Manager, Quality & Operation Control

A reputable local Bank in Hong Kong with a well-established Branch Network is looking for an Assistant Manager to join her Direct Channel Department in Retail Banking for operational duties and documentation checks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform operational duties and documentation checks on Wealth Management products
  • Regular call quality & call monitoring support to ensure the team meets the quality standard and complies with regulatory compliance
  • Support projects and operation controls for the Department
  • Help to prepare operation risk/compliance-related reports, ensure timely completion of quality control and risk assessment
  • Provide regular training/coaching to frontline staff on the control perspective
  • Compile and review operation flows from time to time
  • Comply with internal guidelines, and legal and regulatory requirements when delivering job duties
  • Handle Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the management team of Quality & Operation Control

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education with at least 5 years relevant experience, preferably in banking, customer services, or investment-related area; Passed in HKSI Paper 1,7, 8 is preferable
  • Familiar with banking products & operation flow
  • Capable of working independently with a good analytical & logical mind
  • A detail-minded team player with good people management, staff coaching & training skill
  • Capable of interacting with business partners, both internal and external
  • Excellent reading and writing communication in English
  • Excellent presentation/ command skills in both English and Chinese
