Team Head Regulatory Reporting, Financial Management (Banking)

A fast-growing China-based Bank with its Group Company listed in Hong Kong is looking for a high-calibre Team Head in Financial Regulatory Reporting Department.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a small team focusing on Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk & Market Risk in accordance with the BASEL III requirements

• Perform financial and regulatory reporting functions e.g. preparation of banking returns and financial reports and monitoring financial compliance ratios

• Exercise effective control on the operations, structure and workflow of financial data and information and their subsequent retrieval

• Identify the regulatory reporting requirements of new regulations/standards and new banking products

• Participate in project groups and system UAT to ensure the successful implementation of new standards/system

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Master Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related disciplines; preferably with professional qualification in CFA / FRM;

• At least 7 years banking experience in capital management & interest rate risk management for banking book;

• Substantial knowledge in Basel III IRRBB or Basel III CAR or Basel III LCR and relevant HKMA regulatory reporting requirements is essential;

• Strong in report automation and data management

• Strong analytical and report-writing skills; Proven analytical skills in forecasting and modeling; independent and possession of good problem-solving ability;

• Proficient in Chinese word processing and MS Office Suite; knowledge in SAS / ALM system and Oracle application is highly preferable;

• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable;
