(Assistant) Operational Risk Manager (Banking)

A fast-growing China-based Bank in Hong Kong is looking for an Assistant Operational Risk Manager.

Responsibilities

• Implement operational risk management plans

• Review and recommend improvements from KRI and RCSA for all departments

• Monitor implementation of thematic reviews and branch visits and rectify operational deficiencies if identified

• Review and update operational risk framework, reporting systems and related policies and procedures

• Prepare statutory and management reports

• Handle queries in relevant areas and liaise with regulators

• Guide special projects or investigations related to operational or reputational risk when required

Requirements

• Degree or above in Accounting Laws or related disciplines

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operational risk management, audit or internal control functions in the banking industry

• Excellent knowledge of HKMA, SEC and other relevant regulations and guidelines in the banking industry

• Proven experience in working and liaising with regulatory bodies

• Good oral and written skills in Chinese and English

• Excellent prioritization, organizational and interpersonal skills
