Research & Development Director, Chemical Engineering

Our client, a reputable & sizable provider of integrating transportation & warehousing services, offer procurement, research & development, trading, sales service of petrochemical products in China, is looking for a high-calibre R&D Director in overseeing one of her Research Projects.

Responsibilities:

• Ÿ Lead R&D project management and new product development processes, such as synthetic resin medication

• Ÿ Master the characteristics and production processes of polymer material products, be able to preside over project R&D topics independently

• Lead a team to conduct research & pioneer work in various industries

Requirements:

• Ÿ Doctoral degree in polymer chemistry and physics, chemical engineering with strong experience in related fields such as synthetic resin modification and other technology research, development and application are preferred

• Ÿ Experience in engaging in natural sciences, engineering technology and other fields, have formal positions in well-known overseas universities, scientific research institutions, and corporate R&D institutions after obtaining a doctorate, and have worked continuously for 36 months above

• Ÿ Hold positions equivalent to associate professor or above in well-known foreign universities and scientific research institutions, and have strong scientific research level and strong scientific and technological innovation capabilities

• Ÿ Possess a broad thinking and vision with strong R&D capabilities

• Ÿ Familiarized with R&D project management and new product development processes such as synthetic resin modification, master the characteristics and production processes of polymer material products

• Ÿ Be proficient in the latest technology in the industry, be able to grasp industry technology development trends and business development trends, and have unique insights into key technologies

• Ÿ Good professional knowledge, communication and organizational coordination skills and team management experience

• Ÿ Good interpersonal & teamwork skills

• Ÿ A high sense of responsibility and good professional ethics

• Ÿ Professional technical talents and senior management talents who have held senior positions in internationally renowned companies before returning to China

• Ÿ Technical and skilled talents who have mastered key technologies in the industrial field or can solve product production process problems

• Ÿ Talents who have signed or intend to sign contracts with domestic companies, or have become major technical and commercial partners of domestic companies

• Working location in Shenzhen
