Head of Regulatory Reporting, Financial Management (Banking)

Hong Kong Job Consulting is seeking an experienced Head of Regulatory Reporting, Financial Management (Banking) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of all regulatory reports and financial management activities related to banking operations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze the banks financial performance and provide timely and accurate reports to the relevant regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and submit all regulatory reports in a timely and accurate manner.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all regulatory reporting requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain relationships with senior management, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure the bank's financial management activities are in compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Monitor and analyze the bank's financial performance and provide timely and accurate reports to the relevant regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial management processes.
• Provide guidance and support to the financial management team.
• Assist with the development of financial strategies and plans.
• Provide training and guidance to other staff on financial management and regulatory reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with professional qualifications, such as CPA, CFA, etc.
• At least 10 years of experience in financial management and regulatory reporting in a banking environment, in which 5 years in people management
• Strong knowledge in Basel III and HKMA regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of banking regulations and related financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge in Oracle or Hyperion application is highly preferable
